KUWAIT: The Ministry of Interior has taken the necessary measures to deport any expatriate who will be caught begging during the holy month of Ramadan, along with strict legal measures against the sponsor.

According to a security source, security teams have been formed to track down beggars in markets, malls and other locations that are usually used for begging so that they can be arrested and deported immediately.

The source added that strict measures will be taken against the sponsors of beggars, pointing out there are charitable centers and charities in various governorates that help the needy, indicating the needy can go to these official charitable entities.
