KUWAIT: Within the framework of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Public Security Sector to maintain the security and safety in various governorates of the country, and within the Ministry of Interior’s plan aimed at imposing the security control and arresting the violators and outlaws. The field security campaigns and security deployment of the Public Security Directorates in various governorates resulted in the arrest of a number of people in possession of narcotics, alcohol and psychotropic substances, in addition to the arrest of a number of violating street vendors and wanted vehicles. Dilapidated vehicles were also removed in cooperation with Kuwait Municipality. This comes as part of the ongoing keenness of the Ministry of Interior to combat the crime in all its kinds and outlaws to achieve the highest levels of safety and security to citizens and expats.
