KUWAIT: Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, has announced new regulations for the Legal Department aimed at improving official work procedures. The new controls include the implementation of fingerprint and electronic monitoring systems for tracking attendance.

In a recent decision, Minister Al-Mishaan outlined the updated rules governing the official work controls for members of the Legal Department holding special positions. According to the directive, attendance and departure will be verified using fingerprint and electronic monitoring systems. Until the full installation of the electronic monitoring devices is completed, the department will rely on a two-fingerprint system for recording attendance and departure.

The new workday will commence at 7:00 AM, with employees permitted to use their fingerprint records for clocking in up to two hours after the designated start time.

These changes are part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency and ensure accurate tracking of work hours for Legal Department staff.
