KUWAIT: The Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali praised the efforts exerted by securitymen, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate and the concerned authorities to facilitate worshippers’ visit to Hussainiyats and uphold their safety, reports Aljarida daily. He said this on the sidelines of his field tour to ensure that the ceremonies of the month of Muharam are being carried out without any issues. It was also aimed to hear the citizens’ demands and figure out their needs. The tour was based on directives of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense and Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah.

The governor thanked the owners of the Hussainiyats and the organisers of the ceremonies for their commitment to the set measures. He stressed the importance of adhering to the laws. He also thanked the supporting institutions including the Ministry of Health and Kuwait Municipality to ensure the safety of the individuals participating in the ceremonies. Meanwhile, Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser visited a number of Hussainiyats and mosques such as Imam Mahdi Mosque in Regaie and Al-Burhani Center in Ardiya, along with the Commander of Farwaniya Security Command Brigadier Saleh Al-Azmi and others senior officials. The governor stressed the need to adhere to national fabric and cooperation in favor of national stability and security. He attended a celebration held in honor of the excellent students who recently graduated from high school.

The celebration was held under the patronage of the governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser and in the presence of Chairman of Institutional Communication Department in the Commercial Bank of Kuwait Yousef Mohsen and the Acting Director of Farwaniya Educational Zone Jassem Buhamad. In another development, Hawally Governor Ali Al-Asfar received the Ambassador of Indonesia Lina Maryana. During their meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two friendly countries. The governor thanked the ambassador for the visit, stressing that such visits enhance communication between Kuwait and Indonesia. In addition, Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamoud Al-Jaber honored the mayors of Ahmadi Governorate, praising the efforts they exerted throughout the recent years and highlighting their commitment to meet the citizens and settle their problems. He heard the mayors who explained the problems that are usually experienced in their districts, especially those concerning public services. The mayors expressed their appreciation for the honor they received from the governor, affirmed that they are always ready to communicate with the citizens and solve their problems.
