KUWAIT: At dawn today, a security alert took place in Salmiya, involving an exchange of gunfire between the Criminal Investigations Department (Hawalli Investigations) and an armed suspect. Security forces were called in to cordon off the area in order to apprehend the wanted individual. (Arab times)
