On April 27, 2022, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Research Center ( SKH&RC, Kuwait chapter) hosted Iftaar Dinner. Dr. Asif Loya Medical Director, Consultant Pathologist,
Shaukat Khanum Hospital & Research Center was special guest arrived from Pakistan. The event was attended by large number of respectable Pakistani community members, Eng. Obed Ur Rehman Arain shb, Pir Amjad Hussain President PTI Kuwait Chapter, and dignitaries of Pakistani community among them were Mr. Sajid Ashraf Director Kuwait Crickter, Dr. Shuja Uddin President SPDK, Mr. Arif Butt shb President Pakistan business council, Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman, Mr. Asif Jamal, Mr. Tariq Mirza President PBFPK, Mr. Saqib Mirza, Mr. Rana Ijaz President KPFA, Mr. Shahid Jahangir, Mr. Masood CFO Commercial bank and many other Pakistanis were present. Mr. Muhammad Tahir Bashir Shaukat Khanum Overseas Community ambassador in Kuwait (SKOCA) conducted the program and after his welcome speech before Azan The words of supplication were recited by Qari Abdul Rehman.

The program was commenced by recitation of the holy verses from Quran by Qari Muhammad Shafi. Afterwards, Mr. Muhammad Tahir invited Dr. Asif Loya to present the overview on Shaukat Khanum Hospital & Research Center. Dr. Loya presentation was followed by a brief speech by Mr. Muhammad Tahir (SKOCA) and patient testimonial documentary, Mr. Tahir in his speech highlighted the role of Shaukat Khanum in treating the needy patients and he also briefed on the role of the Freinds of Shaukat Khanum hospital and a TVC was played afterwards on SKH&RC. Second segment of the program was started with the speech of Engineer Obed Ur Rehman shb. In his speech Mr. Obed expressed his views on the initiative of Mr. Imran Khan in 1994 and also informed audience that how he initially contributed towards the noble cause and he expressed very high views about Mr. Imran Khan. Lastly he prayed for the prosperity of the beloved homeland. Later Mr. Peer Amjad Hussain (President PTI Kuwait Chapter) was invited on the stage for expressing his views. In his speech Mr. Peer Amjad Hussain mentioned that he always supported this noble cause and even he visited Mr. Imran and always offered his full support. He then appreciated and thanked Dr. Asif Loya (MD SKH&RC) for coming all the from Pakistan for today’s event. He then appreciated and thanked the role of Mr. Muhammad Tahir (SKOCA) for organizing such a great event for the very noble cause. Mr. Arif Butt was invited later on the stage to express his views. Mr. Butt congratulated on hosting such successful event and he showed his full support towards the cause. He also mentioned SKH&RC is doing great service to humanity by providing treatment of cancer to the needy patients and saving many precious lives. The program was ended with serving sumptuous dinner to the guests.
