KUWAIT CITY, April 29: A Kuwaiti citizen has been arrested over allegations of fraud and forgery of entry visas. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security explained that the General Department for Residency Investigation Affairs received information about a Kuwaiti citizen who has been providing entry visas to expatriates and charging for them.

Exit seal forged: Securitymen assigned at Salmi Border discovered that an Egyptian was involved in four cases and a travel ban has been imposed on him, says Al-Seyassah. According to a security source, an officer in the travel document checking section found out that the Egyptian has no exit seal as it turned out the seal on his passport was forged. This led to the arrest of the Egyptian along with his companion who admitted the forgery. Meanwhile, an Asian reported to security authorities that a person who claimed to be a security officer stole KD60 from him. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the culprit.
